VOL DE NUIT was slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. SWANNEE ROSE was restless in the stalls. SKYSIGN was slow into stride. VOL DE NUIT was hanging out in the straight. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that VOL DE NUIT did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Behr reported that SHIMMERING LEAVES did not stride out freely in running. In view of the performance from ABBEY CREEK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the mare and submit a report. CRYSTAL CAVERN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ABBEY CREEK - returned fatigued. VOL DE NUIT - was inspected post race and no significant findings were detected. SHIMMERING LEAVES - returned not striding out behind.
