BOSTON CELTIC arrived at the start late. KING OF THE KNIGHT was fractious and moved backwards out the starting stalls, was reloaded without the rider. Trainer Y Bremner will be advised that this geldings starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. GIGABYTE stood, losing five lengths. Trainer Kotzen will be requested to have this gelding re-schooled before her next engagement. ROYAL DREAMER jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. BOSTON CELTIC was reluctant to parade and proceed to the start and had to be led by a handler. Trainer Marcus will be advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future engagements it may be suspended. Jockey Neisius reported that ROYAL DREAMER took no interest in running. THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) became awkwardly placed on the heels of SEVEN OCEANS approaching the 350m, which rolled outwards slightly. This resulted in THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) shifting out and making contact with the hindquarters of a tiring TIBET, which became severely unbalanced making contact with OLIM DIVES, which was carried out and forced to ease. THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ROYAL DREAMER - returned not striding out on the right hind. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
