HUNGER GAMES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GALLIC FIRE jumped inwards slightly as the start was effected, resulting in HOT RESPONSE commencing awkwardly dislodging Apprentice Godden. NIGHT FROST over-raced in the early stages and was inconvenienced on the inside of the loose horse HOT RESPONSE at approximately the 1200 metre mark. Thereafter near the 1100 metre mark FLY AWAY WITH ME shifted outwards to avoid the loose horse HOT RESPONSE. NIGHT FROST became cramped between horses for a number of strides at approximately the 300 metre mark. RAVISHING LIZZY switched out off the heels of GALLIC FIRE at approximately the 200 metre mark. Apprentice Murray reported that he felt something amiss with this filly in the latter stages. In view of the performance of NIGHT FROST, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. SWEET ORANGE raced fitted with alumites both fore and unshod behind. Vet: NIGHT FROST - nothing obvious detected. GALLIC FIRE - not striding out right hind.
