DRAGOON was restless in the stalls. AMADEUS ROCKS (AUS), which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. THE TRIPSTER, which was restless in the stalls, jumped inwards against the stalls. COSMIC CODE was restless in the stalls. The start of this race was delayed due to a technical problem with the head on camera. Jockey Fourie reported that PACO made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of the performance from THE CRUEL COUNT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report. Jockey Smitsdorff, the rider of CAPSTONE VON KLUH, accidentally dropped his crop approaching the 200m. STEM IN DIE BOS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. THE CRUEL COUNT is a gelding. Vet: PACO and THE CRUEL COUNT - was inspected post race and no significant findings were detected. STEM IN DIE BOS was examined at the start at the Jockey's request and was declared fit to race. Scratched: EXPRESSO GLAZE - Stewards permission. CORRIDOR OF POWER - coughing.
