The start of this Race was delayed as A PROPOS reared badly in the stalls. The field was unloaded as the starting staff tried to try free A PROPOS, which was caught underneath the stalls and it took some time to extricate this filly from the stalls. A PROPOS was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon and the field reloaded. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable. WILHELMINA stood, losing 5 lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable. AZANIAH and DEVORAH lost 1 length. SUEDETTE was switched out at the 250m to continue its run. Jockey Khumalo reported he felt something amiss with PRINCESS AURA in running. LAVISH GAL over-raced in the early stages. LAVISH GAL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PRINCESS AURA - not striding out right front; blowing. AZANIAH - not striding out left front. Scratched: POWER TO SUCCEED - lame right front. A PROPOS - injured in stalls. TIPSY TRIP - not striding out left front. SEATTLE FAIRY - horse not on course. This scratching will be investigated.
