RIVER TRIP was stubborn loading. Trainer Woodruff was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. AQUA BLUE lost 1 length. VICTORINOX jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped CIAO-CIAO. Approaching the 300m SONG JET rolled in slightly. Immediately thereafter SONG JET became severely unbalanced and lost position when it was buffeted between CASCIANO, which commenced to hang outwards, and RIVER TRIP, which made its run on the inside of CELLARMASTER and shifted in slightly. The Stewards reviewed this incident from various angles and decided that no blame could be apportioned to any horse and rider and that this was a racing incident and therefore took no further action. In the concluding stages RIVER TRIP and ALLENBY PARK (AUS) came together and brushed. A Stipendiary Steward called for a race review and after reviewing the patrol films, in the company of Trainer Woodruff, the Trainer of RIVER TRIP, and Assistant Trainer Hughes, acting on behalf of Trainer W H Marwing, the Trainer of ALLENBY PARK (AUS), decided to take no further action. Jockey Aucharuz reported that the saddle on CIAO-CIAO slipped back in running. START YOUR ENGINES was hanging in throughout. SONG JET was hanging in, in the closing stages. ALLENBY PARK (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CELLARMASTER - abnormal respiratory noise; respiratory distress. SONG JET - abnormal respiratory noise. START YOUR ENGINES - abnormal respiratory noise.
