EXPRESS jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. ANZAC was slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. ROYAL FOLLY was restless in the stalls. In view of the performance from GLOBAL EXPRESS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report. Jockey Byleveld reported that ANZAC did not stride out freely in running. ANZAC and CAPTAIN'S ORDERS raced awkwardly entering the bend, was difficult to assist. LION'S ROAR and ZE KAISER were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GLOBAL EXPRESS - was inspected post race and no significant findings were detected. ANZAC - returned not striding out.
