A false start was called as a result of BETWEEN THE SHEETS rushing the front gates as the start was effected unseating Jockey Daniels, who then fell after leaving the starting stalls. All horses were pulled up and returned to the start with the exception of VARLOTONE and BETWEEN THE SHEETS, who were both subsequently withdrawn. There was a further delay to the start of the 5th Race as a result of the ambulance having to transport the injured Jockey Daniels to the on-course medical facility. The balance of the horses were checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. NOOR DUBAI and MEEKADARABEE FALLS were slow into stride. PATRICIA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Starter's report concerning BETWEEN THE SHEETS, the starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. SUZIE WONG lost 1 length and thereafter became inconvenienced. SUZIE WONG raced green. NOOR DUBAI raced green on the bend. Jockey de Melo reported that MEEKADARABEE FALLS choked up. NICE LIKE THAT raced with her tongue tied down. The Medical Officer reported that Jockey Daniels dislodged from horses at the start of Race 5. Injuries to right wrist and scapula. Stood down for the remainder of the race meeting and referred to hospital for x-rays. Vet: MEEKADARABEE FALLS - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: BETWEEN THE SHEETS - dislodged Jockey Daniels as the start was effected and bolted, withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. VARLOTONE - bolted, withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
