VERY CLEVER reared in the stalls and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. Trainer Ramsden will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. TIGER RIDER jumped awkwardly inwards and made contact with KINGS ADVISOR. SIR HENRY jumped awkwardly outwards and thereafter was slow into stride. PANGA PANGA, KING RAMLA and SIR HENRY were pulled hard in the early stages and were difficult to settle. Jockey Neisius reported that he felt something amiss with POSEIDON shortly after the start and eased POSEIDON out of the race. KING RAMLA was hanging out and difficult to assist on the bend, which resulted in the saddle slipping forward and this gelding raced wide on the bend and into the straight, with Jockey Anthony being unable to fully assist his mount throughout. SIR HENRY was brushed leaving the 50m by KINGS ADVISOR, which shifted away from TIGER RIDER, which rolled in. TIGER RIDER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CATSIDE SLEW raced fitted with a tongue tie. Vet: KING RAMLA - inspected post race and no significant findings were detected. POSEIDON - broke down at the 1100m, left hind pastern communuted, and was euthanased. Scratched: VERY CLEVER - reared in stalls, abrasions above the left eye, withdrawn.
