COTE DE PABLO jumped inwards, resulting in LADY ARROW being squeezed out shortly after the start. Jockey Yeni reported that CLOUD RUNNER did not stride out freely in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 200 metres. Jockey Sampson reported that ELEGANT BAY did not stride out freely in running and did not persevere with his riding in the straight. Apprentice W Marwing the rider of NOT TONIGHT reported that he felt something amiss with this mare in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 200 metres. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Apprentice Thackeray reported that COTE DE PABLO took no interest in the early stages. DIAMOND TIGER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. NOT TONIGHT raced equipped with alumites in front and steels behind. Vet: CLOUD RUNNER - not striding out right front. ELEGANT BAY and NOT TONIGHT - examined post race, no significant findings. COTE DE PABLO - not striding out both front. Scratched: GO CHIC - Stewards permission. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
