WEST RIDGE and SILENT TREATMENT were restless in the stalls. The Starting Stall Certificates for both these horses have been withdrawn until recertified tractable. MISS INTELLECT was slow into stride. Workrider Mosia was dislodged near the 200m from CRISTALLE, which stumbled badly when it clipped the heels of SUNET'S JET, which shifted inwards away from the crop. Workrider Duba was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of SUSET'S JET, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to CRISTALLE when he shifted ground at the 200m. Workrider Duba signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in one Workrider race. Workrider Duma reported that MISS INTELLECT did not stride out freely in running. Trainer Houdalakis was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this filly on return to the stables. BEST OF THREE shifted inwards and covered considerable ground at the 600m. Workrider Mongqawa appeared before the Board and was advised against the practice of covering unnecessary ground in races. DANGEROUS DIVA and MIESQUE'S STORM were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MIESQUE'S STORM raced without pacifiers. DAME OF THE EMPIRE raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. JACKIE'S JOY raced with a tongue tie. Vet: WEST RIDGE - abnormal respiratory noise and coughing. MISS INTELLECT - examined post race, no significant findings. SUNET'S JET - coughing. Scratched: BOTTOMLESSPIT - lame behind.
