There was a slight delay to the start of the 5th Race as a result of the farrier having to attend to the right front shoe on PERSONAL QUESTION. PROF TIGER and PERSONAL QUESTION were slow into stride. TRY YOUR LUCK lost 1 length. MUMSY'S JET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PEARLY KING raced wide throughout. Apprentice Barnes reported that TRY YOUR LUCK took no interest in running. RUN SOFTLY compounded in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. MACKDESI (AUS) was steadied off the heels of LIVE CONTROVERSY for a short distance entering the straight. RUN SOFTLY raced fitted with alumites. Vet: TRY YOUR LUCK - coughing post race. RUN SOFTLY - nothing obvious detected.
