ROYAL TRIP and PEEP SHOW bumped shortly after the start. MIRROR THE MOON was stubborn loading. Jockey van der Merwe the rider of PEEP SHOW briefly dropped his right side rein at the 150m. Jockey Lerena reported that ROYAL TRIP made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Jockey David reported that MYSTIC TIGRESS did not stride out freely in running. Jockey van Rensburg reported that as he was under the impression that something was amiss with BILATERAL, he eased her out of the race at the 1200m. Jockey Wrogemann, the rider of SEATTLE TRADE, appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the finish. SMART CALL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ROYAL TRIP - no respiratory noise detected post race. MYSTIC TIGRESS - examined post race, no significant findings. BILATERAL - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: SEVENTH HEART - abnormal temperature.
