The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. DOING IT FOR DAN flyjumped leaving the stalls. INSPECTOR CASEY lost 1 length. WILLOW MAGIC (AUS) had difficulty obtaining clear running over the final 350m. CAPTURED WIND had to steady at the 50m to avoid the heels of MOD BARLEY, which shifted out away from the crop. INSPECTOR CASEY, which raced to the outside of CAPTURED WIND, had to steady momentarily as a result. An Admission of Guilt was issued to Jockey David for a contravention in that he, as the rider of MOD BARLEY, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to CAPTURED WIND when he shifted outwards at the 50m. Jockey de Melo reported that EDDIE SWEAT made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. Jockey David reported that he felt something amiss with MOD BARLEY in running. Jockey Aucharuz, the rider of TIGER TERRITORY, appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the end of the race. MOOFEED (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. INSPECTOR CASEY was ridden by Jockey van der Merwe as Jockey Mansour did not ride in this race as he was being attended to by the Course Medical Officer. VALBERG raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: TIGER TERRITORY - coughing; abnormal respiratory noise. EDDIE SWEAT - abnormal respiratory noise. MOD BARLEY - not striding out left front.
