The start of this Race was delayed due to the withdrawal of SOLAR TRIPTYCH at the start and to allow the betting public the opportunity to restructure their bets. As SOLAR TRIPTYCH was the favourite, the field was unloaded and the race time rescheduled. Subsequent to this GLOBAL POWER (AUS) was also scratched. The starting stalls certificate for SOLAR TRIPTYCH has been withdrawn until recertified tractable on a race day with a companion. LAVISH GAL was stubborn loading and slow. OUT MY WAY was slow into stride. OUT MY WAY commenced to over-race in the middle stages. DA MOONSTA was hanging in, in the straight. Jockey de Melo reported that CHESTNUT CHARGER did not stride freely in running. ANTONIUS CHARM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DA MOONSTA raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: CHESTNUT CHARGER - not striding out right front. Suspended indefinitely for full veterinary report and gallop. LAVISH GAL - wound right gaskin. Scratched: SOLAR TRIPTYCH - intractable. SWIFT FOX - cast in box. GLOBAL POWER (AUS) - not striding out right front.
