CHAMAYLEE was very stubborn to load. Assistant Trainer Kotzen has been advised to re-school this filly. LOUISIANA LADY lost 2 lengths. ZARA'S LEGACY stood, losing 8 lengths. RECONSIDER BABY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Egdes was questioned regarding the improved performance of RECONSIDER BABY. Mr Egdes explained to the Board that today was the first time that this filly had jumped on terms and had been able to race handy. Trainer Egdes' attention has been drawn to the Rules pertaining to in and out running and the future performances of RECONSIDER BABY will be monitored. JOURNEY BY NIGHT became cramped for galloping room at approximately the 800 metre mark and was forced to ease for a number of strides, resulting in LE CHAT D'AMOUR and CHAMAYLEE having to ease and switch outwards. QUEEN OF THRONES returned post-race having cast the left fore shoe. In view of the Starter's report concerning ZARA'S LEGACY, the starting stall certificate for this mare has been withdrawn until recertified tractable to jump on terms with a companion on a race day. Scratched: DUCHESS KATE - elevated temperature. GO TELL - virus. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
