BALAU, AGINCOURT, AGUERO and ROY'S POWER were slow into stride. ROY'S TAXI lost 2 lengths. RACING FOR FUN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer Roscoe was questioned regarding the improved performance of RACING FOR FUN was compared to this gelding's previous run on the 23.9.2015. Mrs Roscoe explained to the Board that this gelding was slow away in his previous start and that the 1600 metres was, in her opinion, too far. She advised the Board that she would race this gelding over similar distances of today's race in the near future. Her explanation was noted. Jockey Mgudlwa, the rider of AGINCOURT, accidentally dropped his right side rein at approximately the 200 metre mark which he regained shortly thereafter. AGUERO, GUMBI and ROY'S TAXI raced green. Jockey Khumalo reported that PERMISSION TO LAND was changing legs continuously in running. Jockey Dillon reported that he felt something amiss with ROY'S POWER in running. BALAU and GUMBI are geldings and not colts as carded. Vet: PERMISSION TO LAND and ROY'S POWER - nothing obvious detected. ROY'S TAXI - speedy cut left hind.
