MUSIC AFFAIR and IKATI were stubborn loading. GALAXY GOLD was stubborn loading, slow into stride. MURMERING SKY shifted inwards and Jockey Ndlovu straightened his mount and then shifted outwards passing the 100 metre mark, simultaneously DOVER BEACH switched inwards for a clear run, to the inside of SCARLET BERRY, continued inwards slightly and MURMERING SKY made contact with DOVER BEACH causing both horses to become unbalanced. A Stipendiary Steward called for a race review into this incident followed by Jockey Khathi, the rider of DOVER BEACH, placed 2nd, lodging an Objection against the winner, MURMERING SKY, on the grounds of bumping and interference in the closing stages. After reviewing the patrol films and hearing evidence from both riders and Trainers involved the Board decided to overrule the Objection and the placings remained unchanged. Jockey Khathi's Objection fee was refunded. MURMERING SKY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: COCO - abnormal respiratory noise.
