THE JET was nervous in the stall. NILE SYMPHONY was nervous in the stall, stubborn loading. LEODOCUS nervous in the stall, flyjumped, slow away and lost 1 length. Permission was granted for INTERFACE ACE to be led to the start with a lead horse. THE JET unruly en route to the start and had to be led. Assistant Trainer Pringle was advised that this gelding is to be re-schooled on course to proceed to the start to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Board prior to racing again. SERENE RESPONSE shifted out passing the 300 metre mark and brushed NILE SYMPHONY. Jockey Ndlovu signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he struck STRONG MAN SAM more than three times on consecutive strides in the closing stages. INTERFACE ACE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: THE JET - checked post race, nothing obvious detected.
