LILLY'S RUSH was stubborn to load, flyjumped leaving the stalls and lost 1 length. DIRTYDEALIN MAMMA and PROVERB lost 1 length. DESROCHES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Delpech, the rider of DIRTYDEALIN MAMMA, reported his saddle slipped forward slightly as the start was effected and reported this mare not striding out freely in running, Due to the performance of QAHAL'S APPLAUSE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. VICTORY TAKEOVER was pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain. Jockey de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with VICTORY TAKEOVER and as a result did not persevere with his ride in the latter stages. SHIVRANI clipped heels at approximately the 1700 metre mark and stumbled. SHIKRA was pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain and raced wide throughout. Vet: DIRTYDEALIN MAMMA - not striding out right fore. QAHAL'S APPLAUSE - nothing obvious detected. VICTORY TAKEOVER - cut into right hind and left hind. Scratched: ASCOT CHARM - elevated temperature.
