LEMONADE RIVER, SUREFIRE and TREBLE TOT were slow into stride. WINTER GLORY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Bosch was questioned regarding the improved performance of WINTER GLORY compared to this filly's previous run on the 1.2.2015. Mr Bosch explained to the Board that this filly was unsuited to the good to soft underfoot track conditions that prevailed on that occasion. Mr Bosch's explanation was noted. LEMONADE RIVER and JUST LUCKY over-raced in the early stages. FIERY GODDESS, hanging in over the final 300 metres, shifted in near the 50 metre mark carrying MARCHELINE inwards slightly. In view of the performance of WONDERFUL CROSS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Vet: WONDERFUL CROSS - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: STIRLING LEAVES - elevated temperature.
