COUNT DRACULA was slow, losing one length. CANADIAN DOLLAR jumped awkwardly. RUNNING BACK faltered leaving the stalls, which resulted in the gelding being slow into stride. In view of the performance from CANADIAN DOLLAR, which weakened from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding and submit a report. Jockey Neisius reported that he felt something amiss with CHIEF PILOT in running. The saddle on EXCLUSIVE KNIGHT slipped back shortly after the start, which resulted in the rider being unable to fully assist his mount. REVVED UP was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CANADIAN DOLLAR made a poor recovery. CHIEF PILOT - examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
