MISS RAMBO jumped inwards. COTE DE PABLO was slow into stride. In view of the performances of SANTA CAROLINA and COTE DE PABLO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. Assistant Trainer de Kock was requested to report back on the condition of SANTA CAROLINA on this filly's return to stables. MISS RAMBO was momentarily tightened for galloping room on the inside of WILD ASH (AUS) which shifted in slightly at the 300m. Jockey Strydom appeared before the Board and was advised to take the necessary measures to keep his mounts on a straight course in future. Furthermore, he was advised to ride with the necessary vigour and determination until the end of the race. Apprentice Storey reported that OLYMPIC GOAL changed stride continually in running. WILD ASH (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SANTA CAROLINA and COTE DE PABLO - examined post race, no significant findings. OLYMPIC GOAL - not striding out right front. Scratched: DUCHESS CATHERINE - abnormal temperature.
