DARK ABBOT was slow into stride. RUSTLER lost one length. ALL TRUE MAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LONG WALK shifted in approaching the 800 metre mark, carrying MISTY POWER, ALL TRUE MAN and ROY'S DONKEY (AUS) inwards, resulting in AGINCOURT becoming cramped and having to be eased, losing position. As a result CAPTAIN KING racing behind AGINCOURT had to be checked, losing position. ROY'S DONKEY (AUS) hanging in throughout. The saddle on ROY'S DONKEY (AUS) slipped sideways in running. Jockey Marcus reported that DARK ABBOT took no interest in running. ALL TRUE MAN was hanging out over the final 300 metres. Jockey de Melo signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that, as the rider of LONG WALK, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horses on his inside at approximately the 800 metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. RUSTLER raced with alumites in front and unshod behind. ROY'S DONKEY (AUS) is a gelding and not a colt as carded. Vet: DARK ABBOT - nothing obvious detected.
