BENBOW was slow into stride. MAJI MOTO was awkwardly placed and lost position on the inside of COSMIC TOM, which was hanging in badly throughout. This placed Jockey Mansour, the rider of COSMIC TOM, at a severe disadvantage throughout the race. In the concluding stages COSMIC TOM was positioned on the inside of the track. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine COSMIC TOM. Trainer Houdalakis, trainer of COSMIC TOM, was advised to take the necessary measures to ensure that there is not a repeat of this report. In view of the performance from BOLD APPROACH, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. HANG FIRE (ARG) was hanging in, in the closing stages. An inquiry will be opened to establish why Jockey Lerena mounted MAJI MOTO late in the parade ring prior to the running of Race 6. MOGOK'S DESIRE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SPRING BLASTER raced equipped with cheek pieces. Vet: BOLD APPROACH - not striding out right front. COSMIC TOM - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: ON THIS ROCK - change of surface.
