SILVER DAWN (*J Mphanya) was difficult to load and lost 4 lengths. MISS PALOMA (K de Melo), BELLS AND WHISTLES (S Randolph) and BIG HELLO'S (B Jacobson) lost 2 lengths, respectively. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SILVER DAWN (*J Mphanya), this mare's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 21.06.2020 to the 27.06.2020. SILVER DAWN may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer T Crawford was advised. Jockey E Ngwane signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read in conjunction with Guideline M, in that he struck the horse AQUAE SULIS more than 12 times in the entire race. In deciding what action to take against Jockey E Ngwane, the Board considered the number of times (19) Jockey Ngwane struck the horse AQUAE SULIS, the distance over which and manner in which Jockey Ngwane used his crop and his record (5) in relation to this Rule. Accordingly, a penalty of a suspension for a period of 7 days was imposed (dates to be advised). FLASHY KAITRINA (D Dillon), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Naidoo was advised. Jockey B Jacobson was the rider of BIG HELLO'S (reserve runner). HUPERNIKAO raced fitted with alumites . SILVER DAWN raced unshod.
