BEZANOVA and PATERFAMILIAS were slow into stride. CAPTAIN AMERICA was hanging in, in the straight. In view of the performance from this gelding, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine CAPTAIN AMERICA. Apprentice Thackeray reported that EXELERO changed stride continually in running, and in view of the performance from this gelding, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine EXELERO. PATERFAMILIAS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ONE COOL CAT raced without a tongue tie. Vet: CAPTAIN AMERICA - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. BEZANOVA - abnormal respiratory noise. EXELERO - not striding out left front; abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: KILLUA CASTLE (AUS) - respiratory disease.
