ARKANSAS and LEGAL TRIP were restless in the stalls. Trainer Ferraris and Assistant Trainer Woodruff were advised to re-school these horses prior to their next engagements. LET'S GO WEST lost one length. PYRAMUS was stubborn loading. ETERNITY had to steady approaching the 300m when it was bumped by TUVANO, which was steadied outwards when bumped by ARKANSAS which made its run on the outside of MALUTI, which shifted out marginally away from the crop. The Stewards gave consideration to this marginal movement by MALUTI and even though there was significant interference, the Stewards considered it appropriate that Apprentice Munger be spoken to and advised to exercise more care in future. Jockey Khumalo reported that ETERNITY changed stride continually in running. In view of the performances of AL FIRENZE and CREATIVE STRIPE (ARG), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. PETRICHOR shifted out away from the crop for a number of strides approaching the 150m before it was straightened. PYRAMUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ETERNITY raced with a tongue tie. CREATIVE STRIPE (ARG) raced with a Cornell collar. Vet: ETERNITY, AL FIRENZE and CREATIVE STRIPE (ARG) - examined post race, no significant findings. MOON LAY HIDDEN - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: DIE KAT (AUS) - hoof abscess right hind.
