GULL ROCK was restless in the stalls, broke through the front gate and bolted. Trainer Crawford will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. BLACK AGATE was slow into stride. BLUE DOOR was slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. BONO VOX was switched outwards off the outside running rail to continue his run at the 450m. AIR CHIEF MARSHAL, which was hanging out, shifted outwards continuously leaving the 300m, carrying BONO VOX outwards. This resulted in BONO VOX brushing the hind quarters of CHERISH THE MOMENT, which became unbalanced for a number of strides. Between the 200m and 100m BONO VOX and CHERISH THE MOMENT were carried outwards by AIR CHIEF MARSHAL. At the 100m BONO VOX was tightened for galloping room and was switched inwards off the heels of AIR CHIEF MARSHAL. Jockey Fayd'Herbe, the rider of AIR CHIEF MARSHAL, appeared before the Board regarding this incident and was warned that he must take corrective measures to ensure that he keeps his mounts on a straight course in future. CHERISH THE MOMENT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: MAMBO SQUARE - short on the right fore and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. GULL ROCK - broke through, bolted, and was injured and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
