Jockey Byleveld (rides not confirmed), Jockey Greyling (injured finger) and Jockey van Rensburg (stood down 31/03/2015) did not ride at today's race meeting. They were replaced on their mounts. The start of this Race was delayed due to GALAXY WARRIOR having to be led to the start. GALAXY WARRIOR refused to jump. The starting stalls certificate for this colt has been withdrawn until recertified tractable to jump on terms with a companion. GALAXY WARRIOR had to be led to the start. Trainer Erasmus was advised that should GALAXY WARRIOR behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. SILVERDREAM RACER had to steady at the 350m off the heels of TEARAWAY, which was carried out by MENDOZA'S MELODY, which shifted out away from the crop. A race review was called, which was followed by an objection being lodged by a member of the Stipendiary Board on behalf of the 5th placed horse, SILVERDREAM RACER, against the 4th placed horse, MENDOZA'S MELODY, on the grounds of interference at the 250m. The Objection Board, after having reviewed the patrol films from various angles and hearing the evidence put forward by the respective parties, were of the opinion that the result of the race had been affected by this incident and that SILVERDREAM RACER would have finished in front of MENDOZA'S MELODY had this incident not occurred. The objection was upheld and amended the judge's accordingly. An inquiry will be opened into this incident. WISAAM (NZ) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TZITZIKAMA FIRE raced unshod behind. Vet: HEYHO YAKAMO and SILVER SNIPER - scalped right hind. TZITZIKAMA FIRE - coughing. WISAAM (NZ) - abnormal respiratory noise. SILVERDREAM RACER - speedy cut left hind. Scratched: KING CRUISER - coughing.
