The start of this Race was delayed due to JULIE DOOLITTLE proving reluctant to proceed to the start. Assistant Trainer Stegmann, acting on behalf of Trainer Magner, was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, she may be suspended. SILENT FORCE was stubborn loading. MISS K lost 1 length. ROYAL TRIP stood, losing 4 lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable. FIRE DANCING resented the kickback. Jockey Lerena reported that TOMORROW'S MISS did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Penny reported that SILENT FORCE took no interest in running. Apprentice Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with FIRE WHEEL in running. In view of the performance from ROYAL TRIP, BANG SUE and FIRE DANCING, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. THE ANGELUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TOMORROW'S MISS - not striding out right front. Suspended indefinitely for fully veterinary report and gallop. SILENT FORCE - examined post race, no significant findings. FIRE WHEEL and FIRE DANCING - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. SE AGABOR - mild post race distress. ROYAL TRIP - abnormal respiratory noise. THE ANGELUS - lame right front.
