AIR PATROL and PUTNEY FLYER jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. A TIME TO KILL was slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performances from PAOLO and SHISHINGENI, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings and submit a report. Apprentice May, the rider of PUTNEY FLYER, dropped his left side rein approaching the 200m, which he regained and then dropped his right side rein in the concluding stages. JUDDERING ANGEL switched outwards approaching the 200m, off the heels of BOSTON CELTIC to continue his run. TITUS became tightened for galloping room shortly before the finish and eased between SURRUPTITIOUS, which shifted in slightly and TIGER TOPS, which shifted out slightly. MASTER'S EYE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PAOLO - returned lame on the right fore. SHISHANGENI - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: FORTE DE OURO - swollen legs. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
