The start of this race was delayed due to the thirty minute gap between races 7 and 8 and DEVORAH refusing to load. DEVORAH refused to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this mare has been withdrawn until re-passed tractable. ROYAL REVENGE lost three lengths. Trainer Binda was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. BELLE STARR lost one length. BELLE STARR was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages. Jockey Zechner reported that he felt something amiss with ROYAL REVENGE. WALKING ON AIR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MISS TWEEDY raced with Club Colours. Vet: ROYAL REVENGE - not striding out left front. Scratched: DEVORAH - refused to load, withdrawn by the Starter. LAVISH GIRL - no transport available. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for breathalyser tests and the taking of urine samples for analysis.
