TROPHY WIFE, ONE FINE DAY and SILVER CLASS were slow into stride. ALEXIS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. INARA shifted out at approximately the 250 metre mark resulting in CATHY SPECIFIC, who was tiring, being momentarily eased. Jockey van Niekerk, the rider of INARA, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and advised to correct his mounts when they are shifting ground in races in future. In view of the performances of TROPHY WIFE, REAL PRINCESS and CATHY SPECIFIC, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. CATHY SPECIFIC was pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain and as a result was eased off the heels of ATAAB (AUS) at approximately the 1400 metre mark. SILVER CLASS raced in Club Colours. Vet: TROPHY WIFE and REAL PRINCESS - nothing obvious detected. CATHY SPECIFIC - not striding out right hind.
