TARGARYAN was fractious in the stalls and had to be removed and then reloaded. Trainer Bass will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. NEALA (G Wright), which was fractious in the stalls, jumped awkwardly inwards. Trainer Humby will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. The tongue tie on LOVAR had to be refitted by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. MERITOCRACY was slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from MOOI RIVER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly and submit a report. Jockey Neisius reported that PIXELATE did not stride out freely in running. ACACIAWOOD, which raced green, ducked inwards away from the outside running rail approaching the 400m and became unbalanced for a number of strides. REBEL'S IDOL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PIXELATE and MOOI RIVER - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
