The start of the 4th Race was delayed due to an error on the totalisator (data capturing had to be rectified). PEACE KEEPER was difficult to load. Assistant Trainer Kotzen advised to re-school this gelding. SHADY WOODS was difficult to load. Trainer Kethro advised to re-school this colt. REFER TO DRAWER lost 1 length. CHARLES MY BOY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LAFEE (ARG) took no interest in running. Jockey Dillon reported that RED RED RUBY took no interest in running. Jockey Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with JEDAK and as a result did not persevere with his ride over the final 300 metres. Jockey Jacobson reported that he felt something amiss with CAVIAR BAY in the early stages. PEACE KEEPER over-raced in the early stages and thereafter Jockey Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding. CHARLES MY BOY raced fitted with alumites both fore and unshod behind. Vet: JEDAK, PEACE KEEPER, CAVIAR BAY, LAFEE (ARG), RED RED RUBY - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: DR MOUSE - not eating up.
