KINGS SPEED, which was reluctant to load, was slow losing three lengths and thereafter slow into stride. CHIEF MANYFEATHERS was slow losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Work Rider Kuse was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the correct carded weight on the horse BROOKLYN'S CHOICE, or at the higher weight confirmed in his engagement with the Trainer. Work Rider Kuse signed an admission of guilt for the penalty of a warning. In view of the report from the Starter regarding KINGS SPEED, Trainer Mrs Bass-Robinson will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before his next engagement. In view of the performance from KINGS SPEED, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding on his return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. In view of the performance from TWICE AS SLEEK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt on his return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. IN FULL POWER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CAPTAIN GARETT raced without alumites, unshod all round. Work Rider Booi rode BROOKLYN'S CHOICE. Trainer Snaith advised the Stipendiary Stewards on 24 August 2019 that Work Ride Kuse could not make the carded weight. This change of rider was authorised by the Chief Stipendiary Steward. Nil Vet: KINGS SPEED - examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. TWICE AS SLEEK - returned not striding out.
