DANCINGINTHEDESERT, STARSPANGLEDEMBLEM and REDSUN were slow away, lost 1 length. Permission was granted for PAY AS YOU GO to be led to the start with a lead horse. KENT ROCK pulled hard in early stages and would not settle, was switched inwards for a clear run off the heels of ROMEO BRAVO at the 300 metre mark and carried SOLEIL ROYAL inwards, which resulted in DIESEL ENGINE being checked off the heels of SOLEIL ROYAL. This incident will be reviewed. FALLING SKY shifted inwards from the 300 metre mark simultaneously JAY'S MAN shifted outwards, which resulted in STARSPANGLEDEMBLEM having to be eased off the heels of JAY'S MAN. Trainer Laing, trainer of the 3rd placed horse STARSPANGLEDEMBLEM requested a race review into this incident and after reviewing the patrol films decided to take no further action. FALLING SKY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee Guscott was questioned regarding the improved performance of this gelding compared to his start on the 20th March 2015. She could offer no explanation. This query will be followed up with Trainer S J Snaith and the patrol films of this geldings previous run on the 20th March 2015 will be reviewed. SIR SWAROVSKI raced with alumites front, steel shoes behind. Scratched: CHILL FACTOR - off feed. OREO - cut right hind. TRANSLATOR - coughing. The Course Farrier on duty reported that the shoes of all the runners engaged at today's race meeting were checked and confirmed with the rules. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
