MISTY TIGER (AUS) lost 2 lengths. PRINCESS MAGGIE lost 3 lengths. Trainer Maroun was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. TEOFILO'S GEM (AUS) was difficult to settle in the early stages. SUMMER FLUSH (was hanging in from the 500m. SILENT TREATMENT was bumped on two occasions between the 200m and 100m by SEVEN RAINBOWS, which was hanging in from the 300m. SILENT TREATMENT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with KALAHARI QUEEN in running. Vet: KALAHARI QUEEN - not striding out right front. TEOFILO'S GEM (AUS) - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: BLACK LACE - swollen left front. STARRY SOIREE - bruised sole left hind. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys were selected for breathalyser tests and the taking of urine samples for analysis.
