PLATINUM PRINCE lost two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. There was a delay to the start of this Race as after the field had been loaded the Starter was unable to release the front gates from the rostrum. The manual override was attempted but did not function and therefore the field was unloaded to allow this technical error to be resolved. The starting stalls were retested and the field was reloaded. Jockey Cheyne, the rider of CROME YELLOW, dropped his crop at the 150m. CROME YELLOW was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. AMERICAN LANDING raced fitted with a tongue tie.
