SEPTEMBER STORM lost three lengths. MYSTIC EXPRESS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MYSTIC EXPRESS switched out at approximately the 900 metre mark, to improve his position, on the outside of the field, brushing SEPTEMBER STORM. TIMEFORATIGER was baulked in the closing stages. In view of the performance of SKY CASTLE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. SKY CASTLE shifted out slightly at approximately the 500 metre mark, carrying BULLETEER outwards, which resulted in BULLETEER becoming cramped for galloping room and having to be steadied. This resulted in LILLY'S RUSH having to ease momentarily. Vet: SKY CASTLE - not striding out right fore. BULLETEER - speedy cut right fore. Scratched: MEREBANK TRIP - coughing. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
