SWEET ON YOU lost one length. ZAVARONI was squeezed out shortly after the start. ZAVARONI was awkwardly placed between UPON A DREAM and FORETOKEN shortly after the start. UPON A DREAM was hanging out in the straight and proved difficult to assist. In the closing stages ROSE OF CASTILLE which was hanging in, was carried out by HIT THE BIG TIME, which shifted out away from the crop. A member of the Stipendiary Board called a race review into this incident which was followed by Stable Employee Mr Peter lodging an objection on behalf of the second placed horse, ROSE OF CASTILLE, against the winner, HIT THE BIG TIME, on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the closing stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and reviewing the patrol films of the incident complained of, was of the opinion that ROSE OF CASTILLE would not have finished in front of HIT THE BIG TIME and therefore overruled the objection and allowed the Judges result to stand. Jockey Strydom reported that PIED PIPERESS took no interest in running and did not persevere with his riding in the closing stages. HIT THE BIG GAME and ROSE OF CASTILLE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PIED PIPERESS raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: PIED PIPERESS - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
