THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) was restless repeatedly in the stalls, removed and reloaded late. ULTIMATE DOLLAR kicked the back gates badly. FRENCH NAVY, MAC DE LAGO (AUS), ILLUMINATI and JAYYED all lost 1 length. FRENCH NAVY, ERTIJAAL (AUS) and THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Starter's report concerning THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS), the starting stall certificate has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. In view of the Starter's report concerning ULTIMATE DOLLAR, the starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. Jockey Wrogemann, the rider of AMSTERDAM, and Jockey Khumalo, the rider of JAYYED, reported that their respective mounts making an abnormal respiratory noise. Jockey Yeni, the rider of DANTE'S LEGACY, and Jockey Strydom, the rider of SIREN'S CALL, reported their respective mounts not striding out freely in running. Jockey Yeni, the rider of DANTE'S LEGACY, accidentally dropped his crop near the 250 metre mark. MLJET shifted out approaching the 150 metre mark, resulting in DEPUTY JUD having to be eased off the heels of MLJET and clipping the heels of MLJET. Jockey Kennedy signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended for 10 days for a contravention in that as the rider of MLJET he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to DEPUTY JUD at approximately the 200 metre mark. ILLUMINATI broke down approaching the 200 metre mark and was eased out of the race. LIGHT THE LIGHTS raced with his tongue tied down. Vet: ILLUMINATI - broke down left fore. AMSTERDAM, JAYYED, SIREN'S CALL and DANTE'S LEGACY - nothing obvious detected. The Medical Officer reported that Jockey Lerena stood down with neck pain, and Jockey Randolph stood down with influenza. Scratched: UNPARALLELED - hoof abscess. ULTIMATE DOLLAR - kicked the starting stall back gates; Lame left hind and was withdrawn by the Starter.
