IMPERIAL GUARD jumped awkwardly outwards with its head up. LITTLE MO jumped awkwardly outwards and carried LARIMAR outwards. D??TENTE jumped awkwardly outwards. Trainer Stewart will be advised that in view of the scratching of MY FRIEND FRED, the gelding is suspended, until such time as he presents the gelding on course, and the Stipendiary Board is satisfied that MY FRIEND FRED is tractable to load onto transport. In view of the performances from IMPERIAL GUARD, and MERCHANT PRINCE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings and submit a report. Trainer Robinson will be requested to report back on the condition of IMPERIAL GUARD on its return to the stables. MERCHANT PRINCE, which was hanging out and shifted out despite the rider's efforts, resulting in EVEN BETTER having to ease for a number of strides at about the 800m. LARIMAR, which was hanging out, brushed BANDEROS at about the 150m. LITTLE MO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. After the running of this race the Club's Medical Officer stood down Jockey Behr on medical grounds, pending a review from Jockey Behr's Doctor. Jockey Schlechter was stood down on medical grounds pending a review from Jockey Schlechter's Doctor. Vet: IMPERIAL GUARD and MERCHANT PRINCE - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: MY FRIEND FRED - refused to load onto transport, intractable.
