VANCOUVER GOLD was unruly and loaded unmounted. AMARILLO STARLIGHT was slow into stride. SPIAGGIA (BRZ) was nervous in the stalls and slow away, lost 1 length. Permission was granted for VIVALDA to be led to the start with a lead horse. Permission was granted for VANCOUVER GOLD to be led to the start with a lead horse. In view of the Starter's report concerning VANCOUVER GOLD, this filly's Starting Stalls Certificate is withdrawn, to be recertified tractable prior to racing again. YOSHIE jumped inwards at the start, which resulted in SPIAGGIA (BRZ) being squeezed out and JAY'S FAVOUR made contact with VIVALDA. VANCOUVER GOLD jumped outwards and made contact with AMARILLO STARLIGHT. Jockey Khumalo reported that YOU BEAUTY was not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Yeni reported LIELUMS was not striding out freely in the running. SARVE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. YOU BEAUTY raced with a tongue tie. Vet: LIELUMS - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. AMARILLO STARLIGHT - short in front, lame left hind, treated. MYSTERIO - bilateral epistaxis, 180 day suspension. HOUSE OF LORRAINE, YOU BEAUTY and BLIZZARD BELLE - coughed post race. Scratched: PROMICING POLLY - change of surface. PATH TO TRAVEL - bruised sole left fore.
