KITH AND KIN, THE ARABIAN and RAVISHING ROMANCE were slow into stride. PASHMINA lost 3 lengths. DEE DEE was restless in the stalls, rushed at the front gates just prior to the start being effected. FORT EMBER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BUUURRN and BARAK FORT were pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain. PLAYFUL TIME over-raced in the early stages. FORT EMBER raced green. In view of the Starter's report concerning PASHMINA, the starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified to jump on terms with a companion. BARAK FORT and DEE DEE raced with her tongue tied down. Vet: DEE DEE - head injury in pens. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. Several Jockeys and Apprentices were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
