Apprentice Mxothwa realised en route to the start that he had failed to weigh out with his body protector. He returned to scale and re-weighed. This resulted in a delay to the start. AGINCOURT and FRISKET were slow into stride. FRISKET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROY'S POWER shifted both ways from the crop at approximately the 150 metre mark. SHOSHONE was hanging in over the final 400 metres. Jockey Yeni, the rider of HIGH MAINTENANCE, and Jockey Jacobson, the rider of PAWAN, reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in running. EASTER RISING was baulked for a clear run at approximately the 150 metre mark and thereafter at approximately the 50 metre mark. AGINCOURT was hanging in badly in the latter stages. Apprentice Mxothwa signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that, as the rider of AIR SERVICE, he failed to weigh out with his body protector which necessitated in him having to re-weigh which resulted in a delay to the start. Vet: HIGH MAINTENANCE - not striding out left fore. PAWAN - nothing obvious detected. FRISKET - mouth injury. Scratched: O'CANADA - no transport available.
