There was a slight delay to the start of the 9th Race due to an issue with the Tote. SLIP DANCE (AUS), BIDDER BEWARE and FAIREY FOX lost 1 length. MARIAH ANN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. QUEEN DELTA raced wide on the bend. Jockey Cormack, the rider of QUEEN DELTA, reported his saddle slipped forward in running. Due to the performance of QUEEN DELTA and SLIP DANCE (AUS), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. STAR ATTRACTION over-raced in the early stages resulting in this filly racing to the front. Jockey Forbes reported that FAIREY FOX took no interest in running. Jockey de Melo reported that SOMEBODY TO LOVE was changing legs in running. STAR ATTRACTION raced fitted with alumites. Vet: QUEEN DELTA, SLIP DANCE (AUS) and FAIREY FOX - nothing obvious detected. SOMEBODY TO LOVE - not striding out right fore. Scratched: DELLAVERA - virus. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
