RIVERINE FOREST was restless in the stalls and lost two lengths. The Stipendiary Board in consultation with the Starter, reviewed the start of this race with regard to RIVERINE FOREST, and declared this filly to be a runner. RIVERINE FOREST shifted in away from the crop leaving the 300m. Jockey Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with NEGEV in running. Jockey Naude reported that FIRE DANCING changed stride continually in running. Jockey Mansour reported that MARGOT ON STAGE changed stride continually in running. KWINTA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Lerena was charged with a contravention in that he failed to keep his mount KWINTA on a straight course parallel to the running rail and relative to the draw position until a point not less than 200 metres from the start. Jockey Lerena signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. Vet: NEGEV, FIRE DANCING and MARGOT ON STAGE - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. JO MALONE - coughing.
