GOLD STATUS proved difficult to load, causing a delay to the start of the Race. GOLD STATUS was stubborn loading. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable. GRAND OPERA was restless in the stalls and lost 1 length. Assistant Trainer Faasen was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. FORT MARTITA was restless in the stalls. Trainer Binda was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. Jockey Lerena reported that GRAND OPERA did not stride out freely in running. Assistant Trainer Faasen was requested to report back on the condition of this gelding on return to the stables. Jockey Maujean reported that BE BRAVE did not stride out freely in running. Apprentice Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with PERFECT END (AUS) in running and did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages. COUNTERSTROKE was hanging in from the 200m. COUNTERSTROKE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GOLD STATUS, BE BRAVE and LUNDY'S STAR raced equipped with a tongue tie. GRAND OPERA raced without a tongue tie. AKITAKATA raced without pacifiers and raced equipped with cheek pieces. Vet: GOLD STATUS - examined post race, no significant findings. PERFECT END (AUS) - examined post race, no significant findings. BE BRAVE - lame right front carpus. FORT MARTITA - severe post race distress and collapse. Scratched: PRIMA FACIE - coughing.
